Martin co-founded VALOREO in 2020 and served as CEO up until the company’s acquisition by Razor Group in December 2022.

As part of the transaction, Martin joined Razor Group’s leadership team, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Latin America, overseeing the group´s Latin American operation.

Martin helped navigate VALOREO through a hyper-growth phase, expanding quickly across multiple countries in Latin America, hiring a team of over 250 “VALOREANs” and raising millions of capital (equity and debt) across more than 3 investment rounds in the span of less than two years. This ultimately resulted in acquiring more than 25 brands across Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia, and positioning VALOREO as the leading tech-enabled e-commerce holding in the region.

Martin attained his Bachelors in Economics and Business Administration with distinction from Goethe University, graduating as Valedictorian with the highest GPA in the history of the University.

As a result of his academic and extracurricular performance, Martin was awarded four merit-based scholarships during his studies including a scholarship from the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (“Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes”) that allowed Martin to pursue a Master’s Degree at the University of Cambridge where he graduated with Distinction.

Upon graduation, Martin started his professional career in Switzerland at Cevian Capital, the largest European Active Ownership Investor.

Prior to founding VALOREO, Martin was an investor at Hellman & Friedman, the leading global Large-Cap Private Equity Investor, where he focused on technology investments across Europe and also served as the youngest Board Member at Nets, one of the leading global Fintech companies.

Over the past years, Martin also co-founded multiple internet ventures with his twin brother Stefan, including BreakIntoPE.com, the leading European platform to support young professionals in pursuing a career in the investing industry in Europe.

Martin is passionate about supporting local start-up communities in Europe and Latin America, and is keen to connect with daring founders and investors to explore opportunities for collaboration.
